NextMD allows you to retrieve your Minnesota Gastroenterology procedure, lab and test results safely and securely online. Once you are enrolled in NextMD, you will also be able to view preparation instructions for upcoming procedures, such as colonoscopy.

Follow these steps to signing up for NextMD “Patient Portal” Access:
1) What are Scheduling Department business hours?

2) Do I need to be referred to see a MNGI provider?
Consultations/Office Visits-
A provider referral is not required to schedule a consultation with a Minnesota Gastroenterology physician.
Procedures-
If you are asymptomatic (no symptoms) and over the age of 50, you may also request to schedule a screening colonoscopy without a provider referral.
In order to process your request please fill out our Release of Information (ROI) form and send it back to us. We will process your request within 2-4 business upon receipt.

NextMD the “Patient Portal” is way for current patients to take charge of their healthcare, but not be tied down to access Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The “Patient Portal” allows a current patient to review their gastroenterology test results sooner than using mail. Requested Minnesota Gastroenterology Records can be sent to the “Patient Portal” so that they can be kept electronically organized and reviewed anytime the patient may need them. Use the portal to browse accredited websites for the best answers to their medical questions.
